Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform a radio transmission/reception of signals, by providing a means which divides the same signal into two parts and then transmits these signals through the same transmission antenna in the form of the horizontal and vertical polarized waves each plus a means which receives signals independently and then synthesizes them to obtain the reception output. CONSTITUTION:The signal of frequency f1 of the transmitter 21 in the station A is divided into two parts through the hybrid 22 and then transmitted at one time in the form of the vertical and horizontal polarized waves each. At the station B, both the vertical and horizontal polarized waves are received at the antenna 26 and in separation from each other to be put into the receivers 29 and 30 via the duplexers 27 and 28 respectively. The outputs of the receivers 29 and 30 are synthesized by the synthesizing device 31 to produce the reception output. In the case of transmission at the station B, the signal of frequency f2 supplied from the transmitter 32 is divided into two parts through the hybrid 33 and reaches the antenna 26 via the duplexers 27 and 28 each to be transmitted in the form of the vertical and horizontal polarized waves respectively.
