Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the sound channel for control signals needless to simplify the constitution of slave stations, by using the pilot signal, which is used in common by slave stations, to transmit control signals. CONSTITUTION:In master earth station (a), the pilot signal modulated in modulator 15 by control signal 16 and the sound channel signal from channel part 10 are synthesized and are transmitted to the satellite from antenna 1. In each slave earth station (b), the receiving signal from the satellite is converted to a receiving intermediate frequency signal and is applied to pilot signal detector 24 and signal distributor 25. AFC signal 31 and AGC signal 32 are obtained by pilot signal detector 24, and the pilot signal is demodulated by demodulator 35, and by the obtained control signal, carrier frequencies of channel part 30 or modulators are selected.
