Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to suppress an impulsive noise and white noise effectively in reception by enabling an IDC (instantaneous deviation control) circuit to serve as an IDC circuit in transmission and as a noise suppression circuit in reception and also to transmit and receive signals.
CONSTITUTION: In transmission, audio duplexers 10 and 11 are set to the A side; namely, the input side of the IDC circuit is connected to the microphone circuit and the output side to the transmission part input. In reception, on the other hand, duplexers 10 and 11 are at the B side; namely, the input side of the IDC circuit is connected to the output of the reception part and its output side is to the input of the sound amplifier. The switching operations of duplexers 10 and 11 are performed by a press-to-talk signal. The IDC circuit operates as an IDC circuit being connected to the A side and as a noise circuit by being connected to the B side. Now, an arrival radio wave passes through duplexer 10 and IDC circuit 4 suppresses an impulsive noise of large amplitude before it is supplied to speaker 9 by way of duplexer 11. In transmission, on the other hand, the output of microphone 5 is passed through duplexer 10, circuit 4 and duplexer 11 and becomes modulated and transmitted waves in the transmission part before being supplied to antenna 1.
