Abstract

The input to this relay transmitter is connected to the audio stage of a television receiver, radio or disc player. One stage of audio amplification is followed by a single transistor high frequency stage giving an FM output to an aerial circuit. The transmission should be effective for 50 metres in the band of 85 MHz to 108MHz. The transmission may be received by any conventional FM receiver to give a personal and portable means of listening by, say, a headset, earpiece or loudspeaker with the audio output of the main unit reduced to zero gain. There is a low frequency amplifier stage between the input and the high frequency stage.
