Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the output linearity to the power voltage without giving the modulation to the exciting step but by obtaining the automatic control for the base driving current within the modulated power amplifying circuit and in accordance with the load current. CONSTITUTION:With supply of the square wave signal, the current of the reverse phase is supplied to the bases of switching elements 103 and 104 via the secondary winding of pulse transformer 102. Then the collector current is changed into the voltage via resistances 107 and 108 to be then applied to the bases of transistors 109 and 110 for the switch ON. The collector resistance varies in accordance with the output current of elements 103 and 104, and the base current proportional to the output current is applied to elements 109 and 110. The backward base bias gives the instantaneous OFF to elements 103 and 104 which are given via diodes 111 and 112. Thus the signal modulated linearly is delivered through T-shaped matching circuit 115 and in accordance with the positive voltage applied to modulati signal terminal 113. In such way, the base driving current is controlled automatically to obtain the steady operation with the good modulating linearity and high efficiency.
