Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove the influence of an offset voltage of an operational amplifier and an in-phase voltage of a Hall element, by a method wherein a polarity of a control current applied to the Hall element and an input of a Hall element output to two filters are switched in synchronism with each other. CONSTITUTION:A load voltage VL is inputted to a voltage-current conversion circuit 24 via a power transformer 21, a phase-shifting circuit 22, analogue switch groups 23a-23d, and is supplied as a control current to a terminal 25a of the Hall element 25. Meanwhile, a load current IL is converted into a magnetic field by a core 26 and is applied to the Hall element 25. The output of the Hall element 25 is inputted to a V/F converter 30 via a buffer amplification circuit 27, analogue switch groups 28a-28d, and low-pass filters 291 and 292. Analogue switch groups 23a-23d and 28a-28d are alternately switched and controlled by means of a pulse of duty ratio 50% from a pulse generator 31. This eliminates the need to adjust a light load and permits fetching of a Hall output voltage by means of a high input impedance.
