Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve transmission efficiency without step-out by constituting a one-bit period by the sum of the first time and the second time and by expressing the logic of data with the second time and by inverting the logic of the first time following the second time for the preceding logic. CONSTITUTION:Each bit is constituted by time T1 of the sum of the first half bit of time Ta and the latter half bit of time Tb. The start bit is set to the L level only during time T1, and a meaning as data is not given to bit Ta, and a meaning as data is given to the logical state of bit Tb. Further, the logic is always inverted in respect to delimitation between bit Tb and next first bit Ta. In the receiving side, time 3T/2 from rise or fall of bit Ta to the approximate center of bit Tb is counted by a timer, and the logical state of bit Tb is sampled by this timing. The stop bit is defined as a bit which rises to H during time T1 from the end of data and falls to L during time T1 continuously. As a result, transmission efficiency is improved because it is unnecessary to provide the start bit and the stop bit for every byte.
