Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide optimal control of negative pressure in pressure chambers formed in rotary bodies of an injection carburetor which controls fuel injection through a rotary air flow meter, by introducing air in the chambers thanks so the fluctuation of atmospheric air.
CONSTITUTION: An air flow meter 13, set in the axial direction of suction air flow, is composed of two rotary bodies 15 below which are set a plunger 57 and an injection nozzle 80 whose injection in controlled through vertical shift of the plunger 57. A negative pressure generated in a pressure chamber 39 formed in each rotary body 15 is applied to the plunger 57 through a negative pressure hole 41, the chamber 39 being communicated with atmospheric air through a control valve 103. A valve body 106, controllable vertically by a bellows 104, is equipped in the valve 103 to adjust the area of a communication port 109, so that negative pressure in the chamber 39 is controlled.
