Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a detector with suppressed cross talk by means of detecting elements arranged in a specified manner in a radiant ray detector in which a plurality of semiconductor radiant ray detecting elements are arranged in a hole provided on a mounting base serving as a collimator.
CONSTITUTION: In a radiant ray detector, a semiconductor radiant ray detecting element 12 is mounted to a hole provide on a mounting base 11 serving as a collimator with an Al electrode 13 and an Au electrode 14 evaporated on the surface and back thereof. The positional relation of the adjacent detecting elements Ai and Bi (i is integer) between the mounting base 11 and detecting element 12 are turned up side down while they are shifted in the positional relation with respect to the incidence direction of the X-ray so as to be opposite to each other whereby a detector unit is formed. The units thus obtained are arranged parallel in plurality to form a semiconductor radiant ray detector.
