Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily perform a highly reliable shaft- torque detection by permitting all shaft torques to be simultaneously detected with a direct detection at a single point.
CONSTITUTION: A torque detector 7 such as a strain gauge is attached on one point of the shafting of a turbine generator, to detect a shaft-torque deviation, which is input to a spectrum analizer 8. From the output, frequency components corresponding to the natural frequency are separated, and shaft-torque deviation signals corresponding to each frequency component are transmitted. The signals are entered into a spectrum recording unit 9, and also into a spectrum recording unit 11 through coefficient multipliers 10 with a predetermined proportional constant, u. Thus, providing each shaft-torque deviation signal with an algebraic operation according to the relative distribution of the shaft-torque deviation permits all shaft torques to be readily detected with a detection at one point.
