Abstract
PURPOSE: To accumulate a high temperature of heat in large quantities in a regenerator through utilizing solar heat by repeating an operation wherein a medium in a heat accumulator and a heat collector only is allowed to get high in temperature in a short time and transferred to a heat reservoir without dropping in temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Water wheel vessels 6, 6' centering water wheels 5, 5' at a spot somewhat higher than the surface of water which is determined by a ball tap 4 of a heat accumulator 1 are mounted, and a pipe 7 through which to lead a medium fluidized through temperature rise by a heat collector 2 is connected to the bottom of the water wheel vessels. The heat accumulator 1 and the heat collector 2 are connected through pipes 7, 7', and the water wheels 5, 5' are driven by rotation of a wind mill 18 to circulate the medium. When a temperature of the medium is not more than a set point in this case, a valve 8 is kept close through an automatic thermoregulator 10, the valve 8 is opened after it reaches the set temperature, and the medium is transferred to a heat reservoir 3. Then, a pump 9 is driven after a time set by a time switch 12, and the medium is transferred to the heat accumulator 1.
