Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain good commutation performance with a small sized commutator by a method wherein the most suitable transformer voltage is constantly obtained by combining an auxiliary winding wound in wave form with a main winding, and equalizers are eliminated. CONSTITUTION:A main armature winding 31 is wound in triple lap winding and an auxiliary winding 32 is wound in p times multiple wave form winding. The number of slots of core is made to be q=3, and the coil pitch of the winding 31, 32 to be 8, 4 respectively. When the factors of respective winding are indicated as follows; number of parallel circuit = a1, a2, number of multiplication = m1, m2, number of turn = n1, n2, short-pitch winding factor = k1, k2, K1, K2, then it becomes as p = 2, a1 = 2, m1 = 3, n1 = 2, k1 = sin(8/9.pi/2) = 0.985 in the winding 31, and p = 2, a2 = 1, m2 = 2, n2 = 1, k2 = sin(4/9.pi/2) = 0.643 in the winding 32. Therefor by the relation of K = p/a.1/m.n.k, it becomes as K1 = 0.656, K2 = 0.643, and both values get similar. As the most suitable voltage value of transformer against the variation of magnetic flux of pole can be selected by this way, commutation is improved and equalizers are eliminated being able to miniaturize the commutator.
