Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a small induction motor having little speed variation and good accelerating performance by a method wherein a copper thin film formed in cage type is provided on a thin iron plate cylindrical rotor surface putting an insulating film between them. CONSTITUTION:An insulating film 2 is applied on the surface of a cylinder 1 made with thin iron plate, and a cage type copper film 3 is put on it by galvanizing or vaporization, and spoke part are attached to an axis of this cylinder to construct a rotor. A motor with this rotor has small resistance because its conducting part is consisted of copper film, slip variation is small in contrast torque variation and has a large torque increasing rate. As thin iron cylinder is light, he rotor has good accelerating performance. Therefor using a rotor of simple construction, a small electric motor having good performance can be obtained.
