Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a constant speed paper feeding possible and to plan to highly speed up a recording by a method wherein a plurality of deflecting means are provided and a difference compensating a dot deflecting due to a relative movement between a head unit and a recording paper is provided at a specified position. CONSTITUTION:For example, lengthes in a direction of an ink drip ejection of the first deflecting means 4a, 4b and the second deflecting means 7 are denoted by ld1 and ld2 respectively while distances between inlet ends of the first and the second deflecting means and the same between an inlet end of the second deflecting means and a recording paper 8 are made equal and denoted by ZP. Further, when an impressing voltage to the first and second vertically deflecting electrodes and a distance between electrodes thereof are made equal and 60 pieces of a head 1 are arranged in a length of 300mm and printing is effected with a dot density of 8/mm, deflecting steps per one head become 40 steps. Accordingly, when an amount of an ink drip on the 40th step is denoted by Q40 and the lengthes ld1, ld2 are set to satisfy a relation of a formula described herewith, a dot deflection may be compensated. The charged ink drip is printed on the recording paper 8 through the first and the second deflecting means.
