Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent an intensive oil compression phenomenon at restart-up by a method wherein a valve mechanism operating on a difference of pressures working across a discharge valve and having an oscillation preventive means is provided on a lubricating oil passage, and an actuating mechanism to open the oil passage at running and close it at shutdown is operated more securely.
CONSTITUTION: A discharge valve 8 is immediately closed upon shut-down of a compressor, an inside pressure of a discharge port 7 drops according to a leakage of refrigerant gas from a clearance between a rotor 1 and longitudinal walls 3, 4 and also a reversion of the rotor 1 due to a pressure difference in a cylinder 2, and thus the pressure of a pressue passage 18 becomes lower than that of an oil passage 20. A plunger 22 with an elastic seal ring 28 or an oscillation preventive means installed thereon moves downward consequently, a steel ball 25 breaks oil passages 20 and 23, a lubricating oil 16 pressurized by a residual discharge pressure is prevented from flowing into the cylinder 2, and intensive oil compression phenomenon is eliminated at restart-up, and thus failure of a vane 5 or deformation of a valve can be prevented.
