Abstract

PURPOSE: The title hot melt composition capable of giving processed articles having improved thermal stability in processing, comprising a specific heat stabilizer, carbon black, and a hot-melt fluororesin consisting of a tetrafluoroethylene polymer, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A fluororesin composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. of a hot- melt fluororesin consisting of a tetrafluoroethylene or chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer, preferably passing therough a 30-mesh screen (mesh opening: 495μ), (B) 0.01W5pts.wt., preferably 0.01W2pts.wt., of carbon black powder having a particle size ≤1μ as a heat stabilizer, (C) 0.05W10pts.wt. of an organic sulfur compound, e.g. benzimidazole mercaptan compound, having the formula (X is H, Zn, Sn, or Cd; n is an integer 1W4), and (D) 0.05W10pts.wt. of an amine antioxidant, e.g. dinaphthlamine, and (E) 0.05W10pts.wt. of one or more types of fine powders of zinc, tin, cobalt, nickel, or iron.
