Abstract

PURPOSE:To conduct a linear proportional control of airflow and oil amount by a method wherein an oil pool is arranged at a fan outlet, the pool is connected with an oil amount regulator through an oil feed pipe, and the fan outlet is connected with an air chamber of the regulator through a dynamic-pressure conduit. CONSTITUTION:A weir 4 is fitted at the outlet 2 of a fan 1 to form an oil pool 3. The fan outlet 2 is connected with an air chamber of an oil amount regulator 5 by a dynamic-pressure conduit 7. The pool 3 is connected with the regulator 5 by an oil feed pipe 8, which is fitted therein with an open-close valve 9. An evaporation chamber 10 provided with an evaporated-gas jet port 11 and a heater 12 is connected with the lower portion of the pool 3 by a connection pipe 13. The total pressure at the fan outlet 2 is fed to the air chamber of the regulator 5, and the valve 9 is opened, to feed an oil from the pool 3 into the chamber 10 through the pipe 13. Thus, there can be obtained a proper oil feed amount linearly proportional to the combustion air amount.
