Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize a magnetic characteristic and enhance a junction strength by providing a junction metallic layer in the junction part between a coil winding part made of ferrite and a tape contact part made of Fe-Al-Si-system magnetic alloy and by joining them. CONSTITUTION:In magnetic head 1, coils 3a and 3b are wound around head cores 2a and 2b; and in respect to the matching part, tape contact part 7 (the oblique-line part) in the side brought into contact with tape 6 consists of Fe-Al-Si-system alloy, and the winding part (no oblique lines) of cores 2a and 2b is formed with ferrite.
