Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable analysis with good stability without being subjected to the interference of coexisting substance, by contacting the water solution including dissolved ozone with the standard gas inclusing NO of a given concentration, measuring the reduction in NO with the NO analyzer to know the ozone concentration.
CONSTITUTION: The water solution including dissolved ozone flows continuously from the inlet 1 to the reaction tube 5 with a given flow and is discharged from the outlet 2. The standard gas including NO of a given concentration (mixed with N2) is passed through the standard gas generator 9 from the bomb 11, and clean air is to the generator 9 from the gas refiner 10, allowing the NO standard gas of a wide variety of concentration to supply to the scattered plate 6 from the lower inlet 3 of the reaction tube 5. The NO in the standard gas is dissolved in the water solution, which is reacted with dissolved 03, nonreaction NO is fed to the NO analyzer 8 via the demoisturizing unit 7 from the outlet 4 for NO concentration measurement. The dissolved ozone concentration C1 can be obtained from the equation (where: K is the constant obtained in advance) by the NO concentration C2 in the standard gas supplied, NO concentration C3 in nonreaction gas, flow rate Q1 of O3 solution, and flow rate Q2 of the standard gas.
