Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title composition having high fluidity and stability, storable for a long time without viscosity lowering nor phase separation, and thinnable with water without causing coagulation, by mixing a specific nonionic surface active agent, water-soluble thickener, a water-insoluble pesticide, and water.
CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) a nonionic surface active agent having aryl- or aralkyl-substituted aromatic group as a lipophilic group, e.g. a compound of formula I [R1 is II (R2 is 1W4C alkyl) or III (R3 is H or CH3); R is 2W4C alkylene; m is 1W3; n is 0W2; l is an integer of 8W40], (B) a water-soluble thickener, e.g. xanthan gum, cellulose, etc. originated from microorganisms), (C), a water-insoluble pesticide, and (D) water. The combination of the surface active agent and the thickener gives improved fluidity and high stability even at a long- time storage or storage in summer (about 40°C).
