Abstract

PURPOSE: To inexpensively produce the homogenous product of high dimensional accuracy by bonding the head part and stem part having undergone finishing separately by a friction pressure-welding method.
CONSTITUTION: A head part a is formed by steel blank having been annealed and a stem part b is formed by the steel blank having undergone the heat treatment of the nature similar to or dissimilar from this. The stem part is subjected to surface hardening, bending straightening, polishing, etc. to secure abrasion resistance and dimensional accuracy, after which it is bonded to the head part by a friction pressure-welding method. Thence, if the head part is polished and the size is adjusted, the composite ejector pin of homogeneous quality and high strength becomes inexpensively volume-producible.
