Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily obtain a curved surfaced mesh electrode in a short length of time required for the labor work without producing a choked mesh, by applying heat to the predetermined temperature range while the mesh periphery of the curved surfaced mesh electrode is press attached to holding ring faces and performing an adherence by the method of thermodiffusion between metals of different kind.
CONSTITUTION: On top of a jig 5, a plane mesh 1 is placed. On top of that is put a holding ring 4 made of stainless steel at low cost on which a jig 6 is further placed. In the jig 5, is provided a cavity for the mesh 1 and the holding ring 4 to be placed. The jig 6 is shaped so as to be correctly engaged with the jig 5 and allowed to weigh heavy enough for press-contacting the holding ring 4 to the mesh 1 with a sufficient amount of force. Finally on top of the plane mesh 1, is placed a jig 7 whose bottom shape is formed a desired curved surface with a weight enough for thermomolding the mesh. Under the above condition, the mesh and the ring are heated in a hydrogen furnace to cause an adherence to be performed by the action of thermodiffusion between metals of different kind simultaneously the plane mesh to be formed into a desired curved surface. In this way, the manufacture can be easily performed in a short length of labor hour without producing a choke in the mesh.
