Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the change in adhered part and produce an extinction pattern of high dimensional accuracy by disposing a heating medium which is easily removed together with pattern material by heating, between the faying surfaces of the investment casting pattern.
CONSTITUTION: Graphite powder is interposed as a heating medium at the adhering surfaces 13 of a circular cylindrical extinction pattern 11 and a tubular investment casting pattern 12 and these are installed within a high-frequency induction coil 16. On the other hand, the circular cylindrical investment casting pattern 11 and the tubular investment casting mold 12 are grasped by a lower fixing bed 14 and an upper fixing bed 15 and pressure is exerted thereto from above to adhere these under induction heating. The heating medium to be heated in this method per se has no adhering action and the pattern material melted by being indirectly heated with the heating medium per se has adhering action and since the adhering part is of the same material as that of the base material, its strength is high.
