Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent interference and erroneous action to cause the moving body to accurately travel to the destination by causing the moving body to select stationary stations as desired to limit its action thereby to cause only stationary stations in number of minimum of necessity to act.
CONSTITUTION: A wake-up signal is generated from the generator 3 of a moving body 1 to a stationary station 2 and subsequently a signal wave of a specific bit pattern is generated, and these signals are received by a receiver 4 and only the pulses are led out from a demodulator 7. The thus led out pulses are converted from serial data into parallel data, and thereafter the data is introduced to a memory device by way of a computer 10. The stored inherent bit pattern and input bits are compared with each other in the computer 10. A ultrasonic oscillator 11 is actuated by the signal from the computer 10, and ultrasonic waves from an oscillator 12 are received by a receiver 13 of the moving body 13, and from the time between the generation of the signal wave and the receipt of the ultrasonic wave the distance between the moving body 1 and the stationary station 2 is measured by the computer 14.
