Abstract

PURPOSE: To properly accomplish detection of the spaced pieces of information, with the use of a relatively simple construction by generating a plurality of frequency signals with the use of a sensor unit so that the beat frequencies of the two signals may be detected by a detecting unit.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit 1 is equipped with oscillators 2a and 2b using elastic surface wave elements. The delay times of surface wave delay lines 6a and 6b are made different, and different frequencies are added and emitted from an antenna 8. On the other hand, the received waves from an antenna 10 are detected at 12 by a detecting unit 9 so that the beat frequency of the spectrum generated after the frequency discrimination at 13 may be measured. As a result, the temperature of the sensor unit 1 can be detected.
