Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the constitution of a driving circuit simple and to make a signal- sending switch to be an A-contact switch by adding a parallel circuit comprising a capacitor and a discharge resistor between exciting generating magnetic fields of reverse directions to each other in a step motor. CONSTITUTION:When a signal-sending switch 8 is closed, a current flows as shown by the solid line in the Figure, a capacitor 10 is charged and a magnetic field is generated as shown by O-A-B on the time axis; and a rotor is advanced by one step. At the time B, a receiving switch 7 is switched to a coil 4, and a magnetic field is generated in a coil 4; and the rotor 2 is advanced by one step. The capacitor 10 is discharged through a discharge capacitor 11 during the period B-C. The time constant is set so that it is sufficiently longer than the time for the one-step rotation of the rotor 2. At the time C, the receiving switch 7 is switched to the coil 5, but restarting during the period C-D is not actuated owing to the discharge of the capacitor 10. During the period D-F, the signal-sending switch 8 is opened, and the capacitor 10 is completely discharged.
