Abstract
PURPOSE:To minimize generation of nonconforming tires upon vulcanization by a method wherein, when any one of vulcanizing conditions such as temperature and pressure has deviated from a preset value or range, this is immediately detected and a vulcanizing machine is automatically stopped simultaneously with the detection. CONSTITUTION:A diagram 2 is prepared, with tire vulcanizing conditions (e.g., internal pressure A, external-pressure portion temperature B, discharged fluid temperature C) on the axis of ordinates and with time on the axis of abscissas. The diagram 2 is wound around a rotary drum 3, with the time axis in the peripheral direction of the drum 3. One of the vulcanizing conditions, for example, th internal pressure is measured by an instrument, the measurement is converted into a voltage value, and a servo motor is driven according to the voltage value, thereby moving a diagram detector 7 along a support member 8 to a position corresponding to the voltage value. The detector 7 conforms the specified diagram; when the point in question on the diagram is out of allowable limits, this is detected by the detector 7 and a vulcanizing machine is stopped automatically.
