Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the dazzle at the light emission photographing and reduce the capacity of commutation condenser by letting light be emitted intermittently at high frequencies by way of an intermittent light emission control circuit. CONSTITUTION:While the automatic dimming signal by a reflected light receiving photo diode 8, integrating circuit 9, comparator 11, arithmetic circuit 10 is being applied, an intermittent light emission control circuit 12 generates the square pulse train of high frequencies. At the high level thereof, the light emission start trigger circuit of the light emission circuit 14 is triggered, and at the low level, the light emission stopping SCR of the circuit 14 is triggered, so that a xenon light emitting tube 4 is let to emit light intermittently at high frequencies by the charged charge of a main capacitor for one light emission. As a result of this, the dazzle that the subject person feels is reduced and since the light emission capacity at the intermittent light emission is relatively small, the light emission current of the xenon tube 4 becomes small as well, whereby the capacity of the commutation condenser may be made small and the small light quantity photographing of a near distance correctly performed.
