Abstract
PURPOSE:To continuously emit a flash without any hindrance, by swiftly charging a main capacitor by an oscillating circuit using the inductance, and also optionally setting a period up to flash discharge after charging the main capacitor, by a delaying circuit. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 8 is charged swiftly through a large capacity capacitor 4 by an oscillating circuit which is formed by a main capacitor 8 and a series inductance 6. When the capacitor 8 attains to prescribed charging voltage, reverse bias voltage is applied to a thyristor 7. After a delay time of a delaying circuit which is formed by a Zener diode 11 becoming prescribed voltage, a capacitor 13 and a resistance 12, the thyristor 7 turns off completely, and a flash discharge tube 5 emits light in accordance with a start pulse of a pulse generating circuit 22. When this delay time which can be set optionally is set so as to correspond to the start pulse generating period of the circuit 22, the flash emission tube is always started after the thyristor 7 has been turned off completely, and a flash is continuously emitted without any hindrance.
