Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress oscillation of a specified frequency by providing an oscillator which resonates at a specified oscillation frequency in a path linking liquid chambers in an attenuation generating valve unit and constructing the linking path so that it is closed or choked at the time of resonance. CONSTITUTION:Inside piston 2, which makes reciprocating motion in cylinder 1, linking hole 5, which liks liquid chambers R1, R2, and spherical chamber 6 having spherical oscillator 7 inside are provided, and thereby response type valve unit 4 is constructed. Oscillator 7 is elastically held in the center of the chamber by plate- shaped elastic body 8. Oscillator 7 is excited by the operating liquid which moves between liquid chambers R1, R2 when oscillation of frequency matched with the resonance frequency determined by its mass and the spring constant of elastic body 8 is transmitted to it, and oscillates up and down; and it closes or chokes openings 5a, 5a of liking hole 5 with respect to chamber 6, suppresses the flow of the operating liquid, and increases the attenuation. Consequently, by matching the resonance frequency of oscillator 7 with a specified oscillation frequency, it is possible to suppress a specified oscillation.
