Abstract

PURPOSE: To separate a chloride in dust discharged from an incinerating process of pulp waste liquor highly efficient by a method wherein the dust is heated in a reactor under coexistent bodies of moisture and an inactive medium.
CONSTITUTION: Combustion gas of an incinerator, etc. of pulp is supplied to an electric precipitator 1, and dust in the combustion gas is collected approximately complete here. Dust collected, i.e. EP ash 2, is introduced into a reactor 3. In the reactor 3, fuel 4 and steam 5 are fed, an inactive medium supplied from a regenerative apparatus 11 is filled, and the inside of the furnace is maintained under a fixed temperature condition. In the reactor 3, dust containing a chloride is carried to the inactive medium, and the chloride is changed into hydrogen chloride HCl by means of a hydrolysis reaction. Combustion gas 6 containing HCl is exhausted outside the reactor 3. Meanwhile, dust 7 obtained by separating the chloride is extracted from the reactor 3 with the inactive medium, and enters a dust separator 8. The dust 7 is separated into dust, which is manufactued by separating the chloride, and the inactive medium in the dust separator 8.
