Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the compression work done by a compressor and prevent the high-temperature deterioration of lubricating oil by providing a partition plate for dividing the oil reservoir of the compressor into two strata and a radiator outward of a closed container.
CONSTITUTION: The refrigerant liquefied while cooled in the descending portion with a large radiation capacity of a heat exchanger 7 flows into a space surrounded by a partion plate 5 and a compressing mechanism 4, evaporates from the upper portion of the plate 5 while cooling the lubricating oil in the space, and is returned into a closed container 1. The space is separated from a suction inlet 4a of lubricating oil by the mechanism 5. The liquid lubricating oil separated from a lubricating oil suction inlet 4a by a compressing mechanism enclosure 5 therefore cools lubricating oil without affecting lubrication performance even though it froths after dripping. The cooling of the mechanism 4 naturally involves that of the mechanism 4. The equal temperature compression as the most efficient compression of refrigerant can be substantially performed so that the work done required for refrigerant gas compression is reduced.
