Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the electronic control simply for a fuel injection pump by providing a fuel flow-meter on an injection pipe between a delivery valve and a nozzle and conducting the signal of fuel injection amount into a control unit for the feedback to an actuator.
CONSTITUTION: In a fuel injection pump by electronic control controlling a control sleeve 2 by an actuator 1, the amount of fuel injection that varies in accordance with the movement of the control sleeve 2 is directly measured and fed back to a control unit 3. That is, a feedback system is adopted by providing a fuel-flow meter 7 on an injection pipe 6 between a delivery valve 4 and a nozzle 5 to measure the amount of fuel injection, and feeding the signal into the control unit 3. This construction serves to obtain the electronic control simply for the fuel injection pump, since the amount of fuel injection is directly detected to issue a feedback signal for the electronic control.
