Abstract

CONSTITUTION:An ink supply-preparation room 5 is improved to have a piezo element 14 as in an ink room 6 with an opening hole 13 to the atmosphere at one end of the room. Due to the effect of the piezo element 7 set in the ink room 6, the liquid pressure in the ink room 6 becomes negative, forming into ink drops and drawing the ink discharged from a nozzle 8. In conformity with this, a pulse driving the piezo element 14 is impressed to heighten the liquid pressure in the supply- preparation room 5 and shorten the returning period as well as curb the drawing. The opening hole 13 into the atmosphere set to the ink supply-preparation room 5 performs a role of a buffer. The opening hole 13 not only expedites a response frequency but also lets out foam into the atmosphere through the hole to eliminate an unstable factor should foam be mixed into it.
