Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the starting movement of the sliding portion and to produce a smooth operation as well by computing controlled variable of every clock prescribed, by generating a stepped wave-form voltage corresponding to the computed value, and by applying the corresponding current to the proportional solenoid. CONSTITUTION:An air-fuel ratio detector turns out power when the air-fuel ratio of an exhaust system is smaller than the prescribed ratio, which comes out from a discrimination current. Driving circuit 17 is consisted of a stepped wave generating circuit 18 and a current amplification circuit 19, and while the discrimination circuit's output is ''1'', upcounted 174 at every clock signal, and the stepped wave-form current corresponding to the computed value is generated at ludder network 181. This current is amplified and applied to proportional solenoid 14. As above-mentioned, the current which flows in the coil of proportional solenoid 14 can be enlarged to stepped-form, so that starting movement is improved and it is operated smoothly, in spite of the fact that there exists some friction between spool and shaft.
