Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the responding properties of an apparatus by controlling the drum temp. of a rectifying tower and the action of feeding an NH3 stock solution according to the temp. of a developing gas at the outlet of a condenser in the title process for separating the gas, in the condenser, obtained by distilling recovered ammonia water and for introducing the gas into a developing section.
CONSTITUTION: NH3 in a gas exhausted from developing section 1 is allowed to be absorbed in a solution discharged from drum 6 in recovering section 2. This recovering solution is fed to rectifying tower 3 through vessel 7 and condenser 4, a gas generated from tower 3 is freed of steam in condenser 4, and the concentrated NH3 gas is fed to section 1 as a developing gas. In the abovementioned apparatus the temp. of the gas leaving condenser 4 is detected in temp. detecting section 5, and according to the output a heater for drum 6 of tower 3 is controlled to hold the gas temp. at 75W90°C (the first set temp.). When the gas temp. reaches the second set temp. higher than the first one within the range of 85W100°C, an NH3 stock solution of high concentration is supplied from tank 8 to recovering solution vessel 7.
