Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve greatly cross moudlation distortion characteristics by leading out an output voltage from the output electrode of a transistor by applying an input signal to its control electrode and then by connecting a tuner circuit to the common electrode.
CONSTITUTION: On arrival of a desired signal applied as a high frequency input signal, FET5 operates with its source grounded through series resonance circuits 8 and 9, and consequently while the input dynamic range is small, mutual conductance is the largest, so that a high-frequency amplifier will operate with the maximum gain. On arrival of a disturbing signal applied simultaneously with the desired signal as the high frequency input signal, FET5 operates nearly as a source follower, and consequently while the input dynamic range is large, the mutual conductance is suppressed to an extremely low value, so that almost all of the disturbing signal will not be transferred to high frequency output terminal D.
