Abstract

PURPOSE: To accelerate atomization of fuel by blasting exhaust gas close to a fuel injection valve located in an intake pipe which is used for recirculation in a rotary engine.
CONSTITUTION: As a rotor 3 turns in a housing 1, are formed combustion chambers 4 which are connected to either an intake passage 8 or an exhaust passage 11. Both the passages 8, 11 are connected to each other by an exhaust gas recirculating duct 12 with a control valve 15 which takes partial exhaust gas into the suction system. A fuel injection valve 9 is attached to the intake passage 8, with its core tilting at an accute angle with that of an exhaust gas blast nozzle 13 so that exhaust gas fed rushes against fuel current burst out from the valve 9.
