Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to check automatically sealing part of a plastic bag on the basis of a fixed check reference, by irradiating a light beam to the sealing part of the light trensmission-property sealed vessel and by deciding whether the sealing part is good or not on the basis of the state of the diffracted light and the scattered light in the sealing part. CONSTITUTION:A light source to generate interferable light flux s1 and an optical system consisting of light shielding material B to shield transmission light s2 and lens L to condense the scattered light and diffracted light s3 are arranged with sealing part g1 of light transmission-property sealed vessel G interposed. Condensed scattered light and diffarcted light s4 are converted to electric signals by photoelectric conversion element P. The output of this element P is supplied to a propriety discrimination circuit. This propriety discrimination circuit is formed by level decision circuit X consisting of comparators C1-C3, which divide the output level of element P into, for example, there stages and decide it, and exclusion signal generation circuit Y which generates an exclusion signal when the output of circuit X is processed to detect defective sealing.
