Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect bubbles mixed through an orifice and capture them temporarily to improve the quality of a pattern image by providing a specific gap in the promixity of the orifice of an orifice plate and arranging therein a pari of conductive wires. CONSTITUTION:Metal thin wires 12a and 12b are arranged in the vicinity of an orifice 7' at a predetermined interval, and, at the time of printing, lead wires 13a and 13b are passed through the wires to apply an AC signal thereto. When bubbles 11 are mixed through the orifice 7' in the gap, the bubbles 11 vary the electric resistance between thin metal wires 12a and 12b. Therefore, the variation of the electric resistance is detected to detect the mixture of bubbles. The metal wires 12a and 12b are applied with coatings in the entire periphery except the end surfaces 12'a and 12'b, and are held solidly by reinforcing stays 14.
