Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance overall operation efficiency of a power supply system by a method wherein improvement is made in the design of those portions of a substation having regenerative function (in which a DC positive-pole bus is separate from a regenerative bus) and of a substation having no regenerative function which are connected on the side of the DC positive-pole bus.
CONSTITUTION: In a substation A having no regenerative function, two sets of thyristor switches 910 and 911 are arranged under a DC positive-pole bus C1, and the first stopper diode group D30WD33 and a disconnector group 610W613 are arranged on the DC output side of the switches. D34WD37 are inserted between the cathodes of D30WD33 and the bus C1 so as to cope with accidents in a certain section during regenerative operation. In a substation B having regenerative function, the design under a DC positive-pole bus C2 is the same with that in the substation A, and D48WD51 and a regenerative inverter 45 are inserted between the cathodes of D40WD43 and a regenerative bus C4 separated from C2. A substation C is designed in the same manner as the substation A.
