Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the deformation and fracture of the forming coil, and to extend its life, by installing the reinforcement of good heat dissipation property and high resistivity so as to closely contact the inside or outside of the forming coil.
CONSTITUTION: The capacitor 2, being charged to a specified voltage, discharges by closing the switch 3, and supplies the impact current to the coil 4 which then generates the alternating magnetic field; hereby, the electromagnetic force acts betwen the coil 4 and the pipe 5 through which the induced current is flowing; and the forming work is performed. The reinforcement 7 is inerted into the inside of the coil 4 so as to closely contact each other. This reinforcement 7 is made of, for example, the heat resisting metal like as stainless steel, etc., or the heat resisting nonmetal like as glass, etc., or their mixture, or their mixture added with the heat resisting resin, and is formed into a hollow pipe style in order to increase the heat dissipation, and also is provided with the wick 8 formed on the wall surface; and the working medium like as water, alcohol, etc., is sealed within the reinforcement pipe 7. Besides, the groove 11 is formed in the inner wall or outer wall in order to intercept the eddy current flowing along the circumference. Hereby, the induced current, generation of heat, etc., can be prevented.
