Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform the decomposition and removal of organic and inorganic materials in organic waste water extremely efficiently by passing the waste water through permeable-membrane-mounted cells.
CONSTITUTION: The waste solution in which organic materials are affinitive with or dissolved in water is first passed through the separating membrane which uses pressure as its separation driving force, under pressure to concentrate a greater portion of the organic materials as the residues not permeating through the membrane face. The organic and inorganic materials in this membrane face concentrated solution are processed by at least any treatment of separation, precipitation and incineration. The membrane used here is microporous membrane or ultrafiltration membrane of fine pores 2.5W0.1μ or reverse osmosis membrane and the solution pass pressure is several kg f/cm2 or 50kg f/cm2.
