Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the deflective strength in the lateral direction and to facilitate the manufacturing process by arranging resin-impregnated fiber bundles along the longtitudinal direction of a flat rectangular conductor, winding resin-impregnated fiber around the outside of said bundles, then, hardening the resin after heating and forming.
CONSTITUTION: Heat-resistant fiber bundles 2, which are prepared by applying nonhardened or half-hardened resin on prearranged heat-resistant fiber, are arranged along the longitudinal direction of a flat rectangular conductor 1 comprising stainless steel and the like. Then, a similar pre-impregnated tape 3 is wound on the outside thereof so as to form several layers. The product is cut out at a desired length, placed in a metal mold, heated, and pressurized thereby the resin in the heat-resistant fiber bundles 2 and pre-impregnated tape 3 is hardened. In this way, the deflective strength especially in the lateral direction can be increased and the manufacturing is readily accomplished.
