Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the continuous transmission of the information signal from the running car as well as realize the position detection of the mobile subject on the running path via the signal featuring the same frequency as the above information signal. CONSTITUTION:Information signal Di transmitted to the ground station from the mobile subject is applied to cross loop antenna coil 6 and loop antenna coil 7 via encoder 10, modulator 9 and transmitter 8 each. The induction lines 1, 2 and 3 on the ground are provided so that the crossing may be secured between lines 1 and 3 at the boundaries among sections A, B and C. In induction lines 1, 2 and 3, cross loop 6 induces the current featuring the phase difference as shown by the solid lines, and cross loop 7 induces the current featuring the phase difference as shown by the broken lines. And the current shown by the broken lines is supplied to the signal amplifier and amplitude limiter 15 via transformer 4, and the current shown by the solid lines is supplied to amplitude limiter 14 and receiver 11 via transformer 5. Information Do is obtained out of the output of receiver 11 and via demodulator 12 and decoder 13 each; and position detection signal Dp is obtained from the output of limiters 14 and 15 and via phase discriminator 16 and square wave converter 17 each.
