Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a slurry having stable and uniform viscosity for providing even thickness of sintered base plate by aging for tens of hours the slurry which is a dispersion of nickel carbonyl powder in a solution of the binder in warm water. CONSTITUTION:An organic binder is made, for example, by putting carboxymethylcellulose powder in warm water at 30-50 deg.C, temperature which would not case depolymerization of said carboxymethylcellulose powder, taking several hours for dissolution and aging it in the atmosphere of same temperature for ten-odd hours. A nickel slurry made by dispersing nickel carbonyl powder into said water solution of organic binder and aging it for tens of hours in a low temperature atmosphere of 10-15 deg.C is coated on a perforated core and dried to obtain a sintered base plate.
