Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable continuous absolute address type position detection with high accuracy, by providing a moving body with only a single frequency oscillator of simple construction or a low electric power transmitter capable of being modulated by information and a pair of loop coils.
CONSTITUTION: Three induction line couples 1.2.2', 3.3', 4.4' are laid in parallel with one another in a identical plane on the passage of a moving body to set alternating binary codes for sections. The induction line couples are connected to address code detection circuits 12W22 through coupling transformers 5W8. The moving body is provided with equipment comprising an LF band oscillator 23 and crossed or non-crossed loop coils 24, 25. When the body is moving, a prescribed continuous phase signal is supplied from the transformer 5 to the address code detection circuits 12W22 and a signal whose phase changes by π radians at every passing through a crossed position is supplied to the detection circuits. As a result, the section address at which the moving body is present on the moving passage can be detected through a simple construction.
