Abstract

PURPOSE: To make obtained composite material cheap and to suitably use for anode parts, by forming the outer circumference part by Zr or Zr alloy and forming the core part by the metallic material, such as Al, Ti, Cu or these alloys.
CONSTITUTION: This composite material is manufactured, for example, by inserting core material having nearly the same outer diameter to the inner diameter of the following the material and composed of one kind metallic material selected from Al, Ti, Cu or these alloys, into a suitable length tube material composed of Zr or Zr alloy and carrying out each processing of swage, rolling and hot rollng after insertion and then, joining the tube material and core material in a body deforming the tube material together with the core material by compression and moreover, on occasion demands, sealing the opening end part of the tube material by a means of welding etc. Also, the composite material is able to manufacture by casting molten metal of the above mentioned core material in the above mentioned tube material.
