Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure a difference of the picture shifting velocity among the divided regions of the display screen by securing the different writing frequency for the new information to the information within the main memory corresponding to those divided regions. CONSTITUTION:When the ultrasonic pulse is reflected to sea bottom 3 from transmission/reception part 11, the reflected wave is changed into the digital form to be written into signal draw-in memory 34. While the reading signal sent from main memory 81 is supplied to color CRT display unit 82, and memory 81 contains shift register parts F1-Fn provided in accordance with scan lines l1-ln of display unit 82. Thus the latest data is displayed on line l1 every time the data is shifted to memory 81 from memory 34, and the old data are shifted by one piece to be displayed on line l2. In such constitution, the display screen is divided into several regions, and the different writing frequency is secured for the information of memory 81 to these divided regions each. As a result, the picture is shifted in a high frequency and can be displayed in a high resolution for the information which is being detected.
