PURPOSE:To secure the automatic cut-off of the power supply in the fixed time after no broadcast wave is received for the receiving device of the TV picture receiver or the like. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal synchronous signal sent from the reception circuit of the TV set is detected and integrated at detection/integration circuit 1, and the output is supplied to 1st pulse generation circuit 2 to generate logic pulses of 1 and 0 in accordance the presence or absence of the horizontal synchronous signal. Then output pluse A controls charge storage circuit 3, and pulse E of the fixed time duration is generated through 2nd pulse generation circuit 4 and according to the discharge time constant. This output pulse E is then delayed via delay circuit 5 by the specific time to obtain output pulse F. Pulse F is then differentiated at differentiating circuit 6, and then both differential output G and detection output A are applied to OR gate 7. Then output H sets FF8, and the output I is applied to remote control part 10 to give the control to power relay driving circuit 9. Thus the power supply is cut off. The power source is switched on by giving the control to the remote control part.
